INNOVACC

INNOVACC is the Catalan meat and alternative protein cluster, established in 2008, that brings together companies, institutions, and key stakeholders to foster innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability in the agri-food sector. With 177 members, INNOVACC promotes collaboration, knowledge transfer, and the development of innovative solutions through R&D&I projects at regional, national, and European levels. 

The cluster supports companies in areas such as digitalization, sustainability, production processes, alternative proteins, and consumer-oriented innovation, contributing to the transformation and future growth of the meat and protein sector. 

Contribution to EmerGO

INNOVACC leads communication, dissemination, and knowledge transfer activities, ensuring the effective sharing and uptake of EmerGO’s results among relevant stakeholders.  

The cluster contributes to stakeholder engagement in the meat sector, provides industry insights on sector needs and challenges, and facilitates collaboration between companies, researchers, and policymakers to support the adoption of innovative solutions.
