The Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) is a leading Greek research university specializing in agricultural and food sciences. AUA brings extensive expertise in the use of different spectroscopic sensors (i.e. Raman, FT-IR, MSI, etc.) for real time monitoring of different parameters in sustainable food systems. Additionally, AUA offers advance capability in big data analyses, predictive modeling development and application of machine learning approaches to predict different properties, activities, chemicals compositions, microbes, among other parameters.  

Contribution to EmerGO

AUA contributes to the periodic verification using spectroscopic instruments such as Raman and FT-IR. They also provides real-world data derived from pilot and full-scale treatment processes to help fine-tune and test the QSPR models. Additionally,  AUA helps manage the project and share its results.
